Healthy living, nutrition and physical activity has always played an important role in my life. Throughout childhood I grew up as an elite dancer, swimmer and cross-country runner so fuel and fitness was all I knew. However, my journey towards becoming a nutritional therapist didn’t actually begin until I finished my undergraduate degree in 2015. In the following years I was always very busy running restaurants and gastropubs both in the UK and across the world. So ensuring that I was fueling my body and soul in an optimal way became increasingly important.
Around this time my intertest in nutrition and health management kept growing so I strongly started to contemplate progressing my passion into a dream career. Subsequently, I went on to complete a Level 5 Nutritional Therapist Diploma with the Life Sciences Academy and then an MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour at Bournemouth University.
Becoming a member of the association for nutritionists (AfN) and being able to empower others to become healthier and happier versions of themselves is something I am extremely passionate about, which is why I am so excited to join the team at Sean Burgess Fitness.
Outside of the office, you’ll find me either cooking/baking (I love food!), at the gym, exploring and travelling the world, practicing yoga or just hanging out with loved ones. I also really enjoy reading up on latest research to help bust common nutrition myths.
