I’d been going to the gym and using just treadmill and cross trainer but I didn’t feel that my fitness was progressing. I started training with Sean in late 2011 and I’ve never looked back! I now train with Sean for an hour of personal training every week, and an hour of boxing circuits. These are the backbone of my training routine. Each session is different so I never find that I am losing interest or getting bored; definitely keeps your interest and focus. Sean also makes sure that we are focussing on different muscles or exercises each week. So over the course of several weeks, each area of your body is trained and the benefit is all over.
Since I started training with Sean I have lost over a stone and 2 dress sizes, and my whole body shape and tone have changed. I love the fact that I can now get involved in any activity I want without worrying that my strength or fitness will let me down. I have also taken up running and rowing on a weekly basis. This year I will be running the 10k Race for Life for the first time; there is no way at all that I could have attempted this before I started training with Sean!
I see so many benefits in my day-to-day life as a result of my training with Sean; I have more energy than I ever had before starting a training programme – and get real satisfaction from being able to get stuck in and challenge myself. We measure fitness and stats regularly so that I can see the improvement and changes. This gives me a real boost to keep going and beat my personal bests!
