After joining the Society of Sports Therapists following her graduation from Bournemouth University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy, Niamh continued her academic journey in 2021 by going straight into studying for an MSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy.
This move was partly inspired by her undergraduate placements where Niamh spent the majority of her time working alongside physiotherapists at Bournemouth Rugby Club and a local Multiple Sclerosis Centre. These experiences were invaluable as they gave her the opportunity to treat a range of different injuries in both pitch-side and clinical environments using various manual and electrotherapy techniques. However, she predominantly specialised in soft tissue (sports) massage therapy.

Outside of learning and working for SB Therapy Niamh is also employed as a private Domiciliary Healthcare Assistant caring for vulnerable individuals within the local community. In her spare time she enjoys exercising at the gym, going on long walks and reading.
