After 2 years of travelling round Australia teaching sign language, working in the outback and playing netball, Jenny returned to the UK in 2014. Having always had a passion and interest in sport, rehabilitation and healthcare she enrolled on a degree course to become a Physiotherapist. After 4 years of training and carrying out a variety of placements Jenny graduated from Bournemouth University in 2020 and joined the NHS straight away to support with the Covid-19 relief at Southampton General Hospital. This was in addition to her usual daily role of carrying out rotations in major trauma orthopaedics and the vascular Unit.
Jenny is now fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a registered Physiotherapist and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
Throughout university Jenny covered multiple specialities, including neurology, respiratory, acute management of the inpatient and community rehabilitation. However, she truly found her passion in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy which led her to also train in kinesiology taping, gait analysis and massage therapy.
In her spare time Jenny runs her own netball club and enjoys hiking, swimming and playing tennis.
