George Kelly

Personal Trainer / Class Instructor

Since as early I can remember I have had a love for taking part in competitive sport, martial arts and perusing ways to Improve my all-round fitness. My greatest athletic achievements to date was competing for South-West England in archery, in addition to captaining my secondary school basketball team.

After leaving full-time education in 2016 I went straight into an apprenticeship at the Junction Leisure Centre, Broadstone where I completed my level 2 fitness instructor qualification and gained experience working within the gym. Unquestionably this first taste of the fitness industry and seeing how focused training can positively impact the community re-affirmed a long-standing desire to dedicate my career to becoming a personal trainer.

After completing a successful trial with SB Fitness during the later months of my apprenticeship, Sean offered me a permanent fitness coach/personal trainer position which I accepted without any hesitation.

Despite only being with the team a short-time I know I am in the right place to achieve my lifetime goals, with such a great level of continuing support it honestly feels like I’ve joined more of a family than a company.

Having now finished my level 3 Personal Trainer qualification I am excited to keep developing my knowledge and experience in order to provide each of my clients with the best possible results. Whilst I’m confident in my own ability already I know that under the tutelage of Sean and the other coaches within SB Fitness I can only keep going from strength to strength as a trainer.
